We were excited to be approached by Canon to roll out their new global brand rules programme, ‘Brand to Life’. This allowed them to evidence their pride in their spaces – from a point of view of their staff and visitors.
The relationship continued, leading to further creative projects, including Canon’s ‘Other Side Of’ fundraising campaigns.
The Brief – Brand to Life
We were approached by Canon to provide an integrated and inspiring ‘brand to life’ environment throughout the public areas of Canon’s Stockley Park HQ and all other offices in Europe.
Canon wished to consolidate all rules and regulations with regard to the implementation of their brand and its constituent elements across their headquarters building estate throughout Europe.
Our Solution – Brand to Life
The project dealt with all elements of the brand including brand placement, use of brand straplines, signage, promotional banners, environmental graphics, use of photography, environmental finishes and lighting.
We established a ‘kit of parts’ approach, and, working with Canon’s assets, partners and heritage, were able to bring the brand to life for employees and visitors alike.
Canon UK also embraced the Brand to Life project, adding their own dimension by wishing to promote the way that the UK organisation utilised Canon equipment throughout their building.
The implementation at Canon UK therefore is a combination of the core Brand to Life project and a series of bespoke signage solutions that support the UK Living Showroom activity. The signage types were detailed in a brand guidelines manual for the Canon buildings in Europe.
The strategic headquarters in Amsterdam and Canon Austria followed. The project concluded with the production of full guidelines within the Canon online corporate manual.
Yellowyoyo do a fantastic job and are a pleasure to work with.

The Brief – ‘The Other Side’ events
We were given a portfolio of photographs taken by celebrities from the world of football and fashion and asked to craft an exhibition and an evening event to celebrate the launch of each book.
The brief was to create an eye catching and impactful exhibition featuring the images taken by Football celebrities. The photographs reflected their view of the ‘other’ side of the sport – family, behind the scenes, their influences etc.
Our Solution – The Other Side of Football
The exhibition took place in the shadow of the London Eye. We were responsible for all aspects of the production, including all design, planning, permissions, sub-contractor sourcing and liaison, tender management and supervision, liaison with London Eye and overall budget control.
The star-studded launch party and auction of images (also designed and managed by Yellowyoyo) was held at the Marquee Club in Leicester Square
The Brief – The Other Side of Fashion
Following the success of The Other Side of Football, the brief was to design a similar exhibition but this time focusing on the world of fashion. The show was held at Selfridges in Oxford Street, London in the Ultra Lounge exhibition space. This coincided with Selfridges’ own Street Style storewide theme.
Our Solution
The Other Side of Fashion exhibition included a catwalk to host daily fashion shows arranged by Selfridges, whilst also including a photographer’s studio allowing visitors to the exhibition to be made up, dressed and photographed.
We were responsible for all aspects of the production, including design, planning, permissions, sub-contractor sourcing, tender management and supervision, liaison with Selfridges and budget control.
